Rental Programs – Multi-family and Single-Family:
SJHP currently manages 68 multi-family and single-family rental properties in Clay and St Johns County. The program began with the 16 properties that were donated to the SJHP by the St Johns County Housing Finance Agency as part of the 2009-2010 Neighborhood Stabilization Program. A partnership with the Clay County Housing Finance Authority provided an opportunity to purchase 15 homes between Green Cove and Orange Park. The SJHP uses our training from the weatherization program to implement energy conservation improvements to keep the utilities cost as affordable as possible for our tenants. We always verify employment and income before showing vacant rental units. Monthly household income must be at least 3 times the amount of rent. No recent evictions, violent felonies, drug charges or predators. Please go to our rental website, www.904lease.com, and look for any available rentals in your area. If there are available rentals, apply online! After the application is submitted, we can begin the process of gathering documentation.
The SJHP also owns two USDA subsidized multifamily properties. Each of those properties has onsite property management companies that accept applications and maintain the waiting list.
