St. Johns Housing Partnership HUD-Certified Housing Counselors Have Answers for Distressed Homeowners

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (November 4, 2021) – Are you struggling to pay your mortgage due to loss of income, change of household circumstances or increase in expenses? Whether you have fallen behind on your mortgage payments or are in danger of falling behind — St. Johns Housing Partnership (SJHP) HUD-Certified Housing Counselors have answers.

The non-profit SJHP provides services in all Northeast Florida and is a regional, non-profit, HUD-certified housing counseling agency offering an array of services and programs about the default and foreclosure process and provide solutions.

Services are free to homeowners. They include foreclosure prevention, first-time homebuyer education, credit education and counseling and financial literacy.

The Foreclosure Prevention Programs helps homeowners understand how to prevent foreclosure, existing alternatives, and what special programs they may be eligible for. SJHP offers access to community-funded programs, modification services, and individual counseling to help residents navigate complicated financial situations.

The St. Johns Housing Partnership has created safe, clean, affordable housing in North Florida since 1996, and has earned national recognition for its HUD-certified housing counseling program.
